Americans for the Arts: Advocacy Toolkit

Americans for the Arts, a national nonprofit organization for advancing the arts and arts education, offers an advocacy toolkit for individuals and organizations to convey to decision makers how essential the arts and arts education are to all of our communities. From their website: “We want to make it easy for you to take action, build relationships with your representative’s office, and highlight the advocacy work you are doing in your community and schools.” Tools include tips for writing letters to legislators, letters to the editor, questions to ask when meeting with representatives, and how to share about your arts and arts education work.
